چکیده
هدف این مقاله بررسی اثر اشتغال صنعتی بر نابرابری درآمد در کشورهای درحال توسعه و توسعه یافته است. نمونه مورد بررسی شامل 18کشور توسعه یافته و 19 کشور درحال توسعه از سال 1999 تا2017 با استفاده از روش اقتصاد سنجی پنل پویا می‌باشد. بررسی نتایج نشان می‌دهد که اشتغال صنعتی به طور قابل توجهی با نابرابری درآمد مرتبط است. به عبارت دیگر کاهش اشتغال صنعتی منجر به تشدید نابرابری شده است. بر اساس نتایج حاصل از تخمین مدل این موضوع برای کشورهای در حال توسعه بیشتر از کشورهای توسعه یافته می‌باشد.
